Validation Engineer – Analog
Location: Hamburg, 5 days in office, potentially negotiable but not too much

Product details: The product is an integrated circuit intended to enable our customers to build an automated radar for cars (assisted car driving, autonomous emergency braking, etc)
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform IC validation as a member of a larger, multicultural and multisite team
- Evaluate CMOS circuit performance, in digital, analogue and Radar/high frequency domain
- Use embedded SW know how to contribute to product performance evaluation
- Support customer design in efforts and customer complaints
- Support next generation Radar design perfection and specification
Your Profile:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics or similar
- Experience in embedded SW programming is a must
- Experience with laboratory setups to validate and characterize CMOS IC performance in High
- Frequency (MHz-GHz) domain (spectrum analyzer, VNA, signal source, frequency multiplier, oscilloscope)
- Know-how regarding high frequency application specific circuit elements (mixers, PLL, ADCs, transmission line, waveguide, antenna, etc.)
- Basic semiconductor manufacturing know-how
- Problem-solving & analytical skills, creativity and flexibility
- Ability and will to work in international team setup
- Being supportive across team
- Ability and will for taking initiative, making progress and constructively challenging the status quo
