Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to further develop and maintain an existing Qt-based application. The role includes hands-on C++/Qt development as well as close collaboration with users and interface partners to refine requirements, coordinate interfaces, and deliver well-documented, user-friendly solutions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

Very good knowledge of Qt (both QML and Qt Widgets)

Strong experience with C++

Good working knowledge of Git version control

Experience using Visual Studio for C++ development

Knowledge of CMake build systems

Ability to independently elaborate and clarify requirements with users and interface partners

Experience coordinating with multiple technical stakeholders

Ability to create technical documentation and user guidance

Negotiation-level German and basic English language skills

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

Experience developing embedded applications

Familiarity with long-lived or legacy Qt applications

Experience improving usability and user workflows

Experience working in structured or regulated development environments

Interest in taking ownership of application components and interfaces
