Chief Acoustics Engineer

You will be joining an established audio team within an innovative automotive engineering lab ata world-leading technology company in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sound quality of the audio system and develop a distinct brand tuning style for sound quality.
• Set targets for in-car sound quality and create a tuning strategy, ensuring responsibility for the overall sound performance.
• Maintain the competitive edge of sound quality by leveraging advanced audio software and hardware technologies, as well as sound quality debugging techniques.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years’ experience in DSP
• Proven expertise in acoustics and signal processing, with hands-on experience in automotive acoustics tuning tools and methods. Familiarity with key audio technologies, including audio DSP, power amplifiers, loudspeakers, and acoustics layout
• Significant industry experience, with a track record of independently leading system design and tuning for high-end products
• Recognition through internationally acclaimed awards and influence in the fields of music and art is highly desirable, as well as industry-recognized qualifications in subjective evaluation
