DevOps Engineer (Platform & CI/CD)

Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated DevOps Squad supporting the development and operation of modern IT platforms. Working within the Application Software Platform Team, you will help design, build, and operate container-based customer and development platforms, while driving DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification

Professional experience in DevOps Engineering or Platform Engineering

Experience working in a DevOps team or squad-based setup

Strong knowledge in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:

GitLab CI/CD

Jenkins

Hands-on experience with container technologies, including:

Docker

Podman

Kubernetes

Experience automating and operating Linux and Windows Server environments

Ability to collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

Experience establishing or scaling container-based platforms

Familiarity with DevOps strategy definition and process optimization

Experience improving build, deployment, and release automation

Exposure to cloud-native architectures and platform operations

Experience working in standardized or enterprise IT environments
