Electromagnetism FEM Solver Expert
Background & Experience
1.
(Required) Master’s degree or above in electromagnetic fields and microwave technology, computational electromagnetics, mathematics, or related disciplines.
2.
(Required) Experience in the development of finite element solvers for commercial or open-source software (such as HFSS, Maxwell, CST, Feko, COMSOL, Sigrity), or relevant work experience with domestically developed finite element solvers.
3.
(Optional) Publications in high-level journals or conferences in the field of computational electromagnetics, such as Journal of Computational Physics, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, etc.
4.
(Optional) Experience in developing high-performance numerical computation algorithms.
Professional Skills
1.
(Required) Proficient in finite element method (FEM) and knowledgeable in sparse matrix storage and linear equation solving.
2.
(Required) Familiar with geometry representation (BREP) and finite element meshing.
3.
(Optional) Experience with MPI parallel programming and linear algebra libraries such as BLAS/LAPACK is a plus.
4.
(Optional) Familiarity with geometric kernels such as OCC, Parasolid, or ACIS.
5.
(Optional) Knowledge of conformal geometry, computational geometry, differential geometry, geometric modeling, discrete geometry, or numerical optimization methods.
6.
(Optional) Understanding of software engineering practices, including regression and unit testing.
7.
(Required) Proficient in C++.
8.
(Optional) Experience in developing high-performance numerical algorithms.
9.
(Optional) Familiar with Git and CMake.
10.
(Optional) Ability to independently read and reproduce research from solver-related literature.
