Job Role: Electronic Hardware Designer

We’re looking for a skilled Electronic Hardware Designer to join our engineering team. This role is part of a structured technical framework that outlines different types of engineering specialisations and experience levels.

Your Key Competency Area:

  • ? Electronic Hardware Design (3.3)
    You’ll work on the development and design of electronic components and systems.

Other Competency Areas (For Reference Only):

Below are other technical areas that exist within our engineering framework — though they are not part of this role, they help give context to the broader engineering environment:

1. Design & Styling

  • Vehicle styling, surface design, clay modeling, ergonomics, and visual quality checks.

2. Simulation & Analysis

  • Strength, noise/vibration, fluid dynamics, and finite element analysis (FEM).

3. Mechanical & Electrical Design

  • General mechanical design (plastics, sheet metal), cable harnessing, and electromechanical components.

4. Production & Quality

  • Production processes, logistics, tooling design, and system quality assurance.

5. Testing

  • Material, functional, engine, powertrain calibration, and electronic testing.

6. Project Management

  • Project coordination and administrative support.

7. Software Engineering

  • Software development, testing, architecture, and systems integration.

8. Technical Information & Documentation

  • Parts catalogues, service engineering, technical writing, illustration, and terminology management.

9. Compliance

  • Certification and regulatory engineering.
