Embedded Python Tester

Job Title: Embedded Python Tester
Location: Munich, Germany
Start Date: October 1, 2025
Duration: Up to 24 months
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Security Clearance: NfD briefing required
 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Python-based software tests for embedded systems

• Integrate tests into continuous integration (CI) environments

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and infrastructure

• Document software quality processes and test results

• Collaborate within agile development teams

• Coordinate with software, firmware, and hardware teams

• Perform device integration, software/functional testing, and hardware-level verification

• Support system-level integration of embedded devices

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor/Master/Diploma)

• Strong experience in:

  • Software testing and quality assurance

  • Python (focused on embedded systems)

• Basic knowledge of:

  • Communication protocols

  • Git or similar configuration management tools

  • Object-oriented programming, C/C++, embedded Linux

  • Digital circuit design

• Desired experience with:

  • C#, systemd/dbus

  • Safety/security environments

  • ISTQB certification
