Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an agile, cross-location development team working in a security-critical environment. The role focuses on C++ software development, defect analysis, testing, and integration, supporting the full development lifecycle through to product approval.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

University or college degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field

Advanced knowledge of object-oriented software development

Strong, hands-on experience with C and C++

Practical experience with Python

Solid experience working with embedded Linux environments

Experience developing software in safety- or security-critical environments

Ability to analyze, debug, and fix software defects

Experience testing and integrating software into complex products

Negotiation-level German and basic English language skills

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

Knowledge of systemd and D-Bus

Experience with CMake build systems

Familiarity with formal approval or certification processes

Experience working in distributed or cross-location agile teams

Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance-driven development
