Head of HR
A rapidly growing semiconductor company are seeking an HR leader to build and scale their People function from the ground up. In this role, you will design and implement the core HR infrastructure—processes, systems, policies, and culture—to support their next phase of expansion. You will influence how they attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring full compliance with local labour regulations.
The company are looking for a hands-on HR professional who is equally comfortable designing strategy and executing operational tasks. You will help them build the right structures for today, while planning ahead for the organisation they aim to become.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the HR function, implementing essential processes, systems, and policies.
- Ensure full compliance with Dutch labour law and employment regulations.
- Partner with the leadership team on people strategy, organisational design, and workforce planning.
- Create and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company values and growth trajectory.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and professional development.
- Support recruitment and onboarding in close collaboration with hiring managers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters across the organisation.
- Balance strategic oversight with hands-on responsibilities—from writing policies to shaping culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading an HR function in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labour law and HR compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ownership mindset, adaptability, and strong ethical standards.
