HR Specialist
HR Specialist – Employee & Labor Relations (Nordics)
Location: Stockholm
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (7 Jan – 30 Sep 2026)
Remote: Up to 40%
A leading global organisation is seeking an HR Specialist, Employee & Labor Relations to support its Nordic region operations (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark). This role focuses on managing a wide range of employee relations topics, from performance management and policy interpretation to disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
You will also play a key role in labor relations processes, supporting negotiations and consultations with unions and employee representatives across the four countries. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in employment law, HR policies, and regional labor relations practices.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to employee and people leader queries related to HR policies, performance management, employment law, and contractual matters using a case management system.

Own and manage assigned cases, ensuring timely, high-quality resolution and consistent application of HR policies.

Collaborate with labor relations representatives and contribute insights to support negotiations and consultations.

Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders, employees, and HR colleagues across the region.

Identify process improvement opportunities within daily HR operations.
-
Support and participate in country- or cluster-level events, including restructurings, organisational changes, or M&A activities.

Prepare and manage documentation related to labor relations processes.
Your Background & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Employment Law, or Labor Law.

Experience in employee and labor relations across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow through on complex tasks.

Excellent problem-solving capability and the ability to assess and respond to employee needs effectively.

High level of discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgement.

Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, end-to-end employee experiences.

Quick learner with the ability to understand systems and processes efficiently.

Proactive, enthusiastic team player who contributes positively to the work environment.

Languages: Business-proficient English and Swedish (required).
