HW/SW Codesign for Many-cores

SW Design Engineer – Many-Core Systems – Linux
 

Role Overview:
Contribute to software design for many-core chips, with a focus on communication acceleration. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design /software interfaces for many-core architectures. Specifically Linux OS. 

• Model hardware components in high-level simulators (e.g., GEM5)

• Develop drivers and libraries in C for HW/SW integration

• Run simulations, collect performance data, and analyze results (plots/tables)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Candidates must have Linux Operating System Experience. We are looking for someone who can design Linux OS. 

• Knowledge of OS internals (scheduling, syscalls, interrupts, memory management)
