Assignment Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components and product assemblies. The role suits an engineer early to mid-career who wants to grow within product and component development in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment.

You will work under guidance of more senior engineers while taking responsibility for defined engineering tasks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Assignment Scope:

• Support design, development, and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools

• Perform engineering analyses such as structural, thermal, and tolerance studies

• Participate in prototype build, testing, and evaluation against requirements

• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to resolve technical issues

• Contribute to DFMEA activities, design reviews, and risk assessments

• Participate in failure investigations and propose corrective actions

• Stay updated on relevant mechanical engineering and product development trends

We’re looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in component or product development

• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo)

• Familiarity with FEA and engineering analysis tools

• Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Motivation to learn and develop technical expertise

• Fluency in English, spoken and written

Location: Sweden (site defined by client)
Work setup: On-site / hybrid according to agreement
Start Date: ASAP
Scope: Full-time assignment
