Modelling and Verification Design Engineer – Senior Level (m/f/d)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Modelling and Verification Engineer to join our team in developing and validating high speed data converters and advanced mixed-signal systems for next generation communication technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate behavioural models, designing verification environments, and ensuring the robustness of analogue /mixed-signal and digital subsystems that form the backbone of our innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
– Develop behavioral and system-level models of analog, digital, and mixed-signal components 
(e.g., DACs, ADCs, front-end modules, high-speed interfaces).
– Build and maintain verification environments using industry-standard tools and 
methodologies (SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, etc.).
– Perform functional verification and corner case analysis for complex mixed-signal designs.
– Collaborate closely with analog and digital teams to validate block- and system-level performance against specifications.
– Support post-silicon validation by correlating simulation results with lab measurements and refining models accordingly.
– Document models, verification methodologies, and results.
– Contribute to continuous improvement of verification flows and automation practices.

Your Profile
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
– Strong knowledge of digital and mixed-signal verification methodologies.
– Hands-on experience with HDL/AMS languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, or equivalent).
– Experience with high-speed data converters (DAC/ADC) and protocols (e.g., JESD).
– Familiarity with EDA tools for modeling and verification (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, etc.).
– Solid understanding of mixed-signal circuits and system behavior (data converters, front-end blocks, high-speed interfaces).
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
– Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications
– Senior-Level: 6+ years in related field.
– MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
