(Senior) Field Service Engineer – Reutlingen
Location: Remote – Reutlingen, Germany

Job Overview & Primary Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in providing on-site support to customers. This includes overseeing installation, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and handling the service and repair of advanced systems. You will act as a technical liaison between the company and its customers for projects based in the Reutlingen region, reporting to the Regional Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Â Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment issues at customer locations.
- Perform installations, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on customer-installed systems.
- Manage a designated equipment base, ensuring proactive support and regular communication with customers.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to address technical matters and provide the highest level of service.
- Analyze various factors to address moderate-scope challenges and identify appropriate actions within established guidelines.
- Attend customer support meetings and provide feedback to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Â At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical service roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Strong experience with installation, repair, retrofitting, upgrading, and maintaining complex equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair advanced systems in a customer-facing environment.
