Senior Porcess Engineer
Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Limerick, Ireland
Contract Type: Technical — Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Purpose of the Role
As a key member of the process engineering team within an assigned value stream, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, providing technical expertise to resolve manufacturing issues, and supporting product transfers between production sites.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership within a production value stream.

Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and increase overall equipment effectiveness.

Lead and support corrective and preventative actions to address process-related quality and manufacturing issues.

Utilize data-driven decision-making and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Coordinate and deliver projects in a matrixed environment, including change management through established quality systems.

Troubleshoot complex equipment, system, and process challenges using analytical and statistical tools.

Communicate technical findings clearly across the organization.

Lead process validations for new and existing production lines.

Keep current with emerging process engineering technologies and seek out innovative performance improvements.

Collaborate effectively across functions, influencing and supporting stakeholders as required.
Education & Experience — Essential
-
Level 8 bachelors qualification or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, Mechanical/Materials/Process Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 7 years engineering experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
Education & Experience — Desirable
-
Strong project management capability (FPx or similar), with proven success leading cross-functional teams.

Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
-
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Highly self-motivated, with strong initiative.
-
Proficient in MS Office applications.
-
Experience with advanced statistical and process tools (e.g., DOE, Process Capability Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, DMAIC).

Experience with process validation in a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical setting.
