Senior Solution Engineer – Autonomous Logistics Automation (French & Mandarin Speaking)

Position Overview

A global provider of intelligent automation solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Engineer to support the design and delivery of advanced autonomous logistics systems in the French market.

This role focuses on pre-sales technical consulting, solution design, and project enablement for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The position bridges customer requirements, engineering design, and project execution, playing a key role in securing and successfully delivering automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales solution development for autonomous logistics automation projects, including:

  • Customer requirement analysis

  • On-site assessments

  • Data evaluation

  • Operational workflow analysis

• Design customized technical concepts, system architectures, and layout plans based on customer needs.

• Develop comparative solution proposals and technical feasibility studies.

• Prepare and deliver high-quality technical documentation, including system designs, tender materials, and presentation content.

• Support project bidding processes and participate in technical clarification meetings and solution discussions.

• Collaborate closely with sales, research, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility, cost alignment, and smooth project handover.

• Provide technical support during project implementation, including system validation, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Gather and analyze customer feedback to support continuous improvement of solutions and products.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related disciplines.

• At least five years of professional experience in autonomous logistics, AGV/AMR systems, or industrial automation solutions.

• Strong ability to analyze operational requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.

• Proficiency in system layout planning, process optimization, and data-driven solution design.

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, 3D CAD tools, and standard office software.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Language Requirements

• Fluent proficiency in French and Mandarin (mandatory).

• Professional working proficiency in English.
