Signal Integrity Engineer (Lead)

Responsibilities

Work with internal technology developers and product teams to advise on signal-integrity (SI) solutions and challenges
Collaborate with circuit-design teams to support SI considerations in silicon implementations
Support internal teams in the analysis and definition of high-speed signalling standards (e.g., IEEE, OIF, memory interfaces)
Engage with customers and component suppliers to support hardware development and SI analysis
Provide theoretical and simulation-based SI analysis of products, test structures, and hardware systems
Prepare technical analysis reports for internal teams and external stakeholders
Evaluate SI performance of advanced encoding systems in comparison with alternatives such as PAM4 or PAM8
Partner with chip and circuit designers on SI/PI/power solutions for packages and evaluation boards
Conduct SI/PI/power validation testing and perform simulation-to-measurement correlation
Create design specifications, simulation reports, debug documentation, and validation test plans

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
Strong foundation in microwave, analogue, power, and digital-electronics theory
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly
Leadership experience supporting SI/PI teams, including mentoring junior engineers

Required Skills

Strong understanding of SI and PI simulation and design principles
Proficiency with scripting or programming languages (e.g., MATLAB)
Familiarity with Linux-based IC-design environments and tools such as Cadence Virtuoso
Experience with industry-standard SI/PI simulation tools
