Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to support and enhance satellite acquisition systems with a focus on monitoring, data analysis, and system health. The role involves maintaining and expanding Grafana dashboards, integrating databases and monitoring systems, and developing software components to analyze and visualize IP-based system data.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and SQL

Practical experience with:

Grafana dashboard development and maintenance

PostgreSQL databases

InfluxDB

Very good knowledge of common IP protocols

Basic knowledge of communication technology (Nachrichtentechnisches Grundwissen)

Experience controlling, querying, and maintaining databases

Ability to integrate systems with health monitoring and observability solutions

Negotiation-level German language skills

Basic English language skills

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

Experience in satellite systems or acquisition / ground segment environments

Familiarity with system monitoring architectures and metrics pipelines

Experience generating and analyzing IP statistics using external libraries

Background in high-availability or mission-critical systems

Experience working in interdisciplinary technical teams
