Technical Project Leader – Air Traffic Control Product Development
Core Responsibilities (Aufgaben)
. Responsibility for the development of air traffic control devices while considering quality assurance measures, aviation standards, and customer requirements.
. Designing and specifying a new generation of air traffic control devices.
. Supporting the sales team in technical proposal preparation within the framework of civil and military air traffic control tenders.
. Leading projects involving complex electronics and coordinating closely with commercial customer project management and product management.
. Planning and coordinating the execution of tests to ensure functionality, commissioning, integration, qualification of software and hardware, as well as their documentation.

Required Qualifications (Qualifikationen)
. Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a similar field, or a completed vocational training with relevant professional experience.
. Experience in the conception, specification, and design of hardware.
. Project management knowledge, a confident appearance, and strong communication skills to coordinate and take responsibility for interdisciplinary project teams.
. Experience in leading projects with external (international) suppliers is desirable.
. Enjoyment in motivating teams and working proactively.
. Strong interest or existing experience in the aviation environment, ideally in the area of avionics.
. Knowledge of RF (HF) technology is an advantage.
. Very good German and English skills (written and spoken).
