Senior Backend Developer

European Recruitment are working closely with an exciting Tech Design company, based in Stockholm, who are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join their Cloud team.

The client has built a 3D body scanner for the footwear market, using AI and scanning technology to help consumers choose the best fitting and most suitable footwear according to their measurements.

Responsibilities as a Senior Backend Developer:

• Drive the design of our microservice architecture
• Ensure that infrastructure lives up to high expectations of availability and stability
• Support other team members when it comes to design and implementation
• Create the core services used by other services internally while also writing CLI tools that other developers can’t live without

Requirements:

• Have 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Have designed and built a microservices backend
• Have experience in cloud platform infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Have worked with cloud infrastructure, micro-service solutions and Kubernetes

Beneficial Skills:

• You are proficient in golang
• You have experience working with Google Cloud Platform
• You have experience with OAuth
• You have experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
