Senior Backend Developer – Cyber Security / Python 3 / SQL / Automated testing / Linux / C++

We are recruiting for a number of Senior Backend Developers with solid experience in Python 3, SQL, Linux and automated testing principles and frameworks to join our client on long term, open ended contracts, working on a 100% remote basis.

Our client is an exciting UK based Cyber Security company and as a Senior Backend Developer you will be focused on implementing new features in a variety of components including: providing new ways for external components to interact with the existing platform and adding new functionality to the analysis framework to help simplify and speed up the implementation of analytics.

This role is open to anyone within 2 hours (+/-) of GMT time zone. You must be eligible to work in the country you reside, as no sponsorship is available and you will be working on a freelance /self-employed basis.

Required Skills

• Good communication, both written and verbal
• Extensive Python 3 experience
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience and knowledge of automated testing principles and frameworks
• Strong familiarity with Linux environments and the Linux command-line

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a cyber security-related field
• C++ experience
