Senior Software Engineer – C++ / Linux / Networking

A leading cybersecurity company is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join them. They will consider all levels of seniority for this from mid-level to Principal.

This can be based in Dublin or southern Germany.

In this role you will work on network and cloud solutions to solve security and privacy challenges.

Responsibilities for the C++ Software Engineer:

• BSc or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Ideally 5+ years of overall C++ software development experience
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, HTTP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS etc.
• Knowledge of Linux networking subsystem
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies – VMware, KVM etc.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript etc
• Machine Learning and Data Intelligence knowledge – desirable
