Linux System Administrator – DevOps / Robotics / Start-up / Remote / Network Support / Ubuntu / Python / Bash

We are seeking a mid to senior level Linux System Administrator to take responsibility of IT support and maintenance for an in-house infrastructure working with a very cool robotics start-up in the Cambridge area. The role is a permanent position and offers a very flexible working environment including onsite, Hybrid or remote (with occasional onsite work needed)

Please note, we cannot consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship for this role and you must be based in the UK.

Required experience:

• Experience within IT support
• Knowledge in areas such as: build servers, field WIFI networks, network support for operations

Desired skills:

• Familiarity with the Ubuntu ecosystem
• Experience of scripting/automation, Python/bash
• Experience of wireless networking and 802.11 infrastructure
• Familiarity with Debian package creation, disk image creation/automation
