Software Engineer – Distributed Systems / Networking / C++ / Java

We’re currently on the lookout for a Backend Distributed Systems Software Engineer, for a rapidly growing company in San Francisco, Bay Area.

With previous success in creating and selling a networking company worth over $600,000,000, the founders of this innovative company are now developing next-generation networking technologies.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend architecture that enables users to interact with the network.

This is a full-time permanent position based in San Francisco, Bay Area with the option to work fully remote within the US if not located near here.

For this Software Engineer, Distributed Systems position, I’m interested in speaking to people with the following:

• 6+ years experience in backend development
• Experience designing and developing multithreaded or asynchronous systems
• Experience with C, C++, Java, Golang or similar
• Experience with data structures such as stacks, queues, binary trees, heaps etc
• Experience with REST API and associated tech such as thrift, JSON, XML
• Network management technologies experience a plus: NEtconf, SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX
