IT Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator – Robotics / Linux / Python

We are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator with deep knowledge of Linux systems and ideally some Python programming experience to join our client onsite in Munich on a permanent basis.

Our client is is a well established and extremely well funded start-up operating in the Robotics space, and as an IT Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator you will work together with developers and admins to ensure a smooth software development process, you will operate and monitor their automatic building and testing pipelines and infrastructure and improve their in-house package management system based on Conan.

Required skills:

• Deep knowledge of Linux systems
• Some Python programming experience
• Fluent in at least two or more programming/scripting languages
• Bachelor’s degree (or vocational education) in Computer Science, engineering, or related fields
• Good English language communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
• Experience with Gitlab runners
• Experience with container solutions like Podman/Docker
• Experience with virtualizing solutions such as KVM, Virtualbox, VMware, LXC
