Embedded Software Engineer – Linux Kernel / RTOS / Android

Our client is looking for an experienced, fast-learning, hands-on and innovative Base Embedded Software Engineer to join their Cross Domain Computing Solutions Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and basic skills and base fundamentals to build new technology, and must understand how operating systems work.

Requirements:

• Minimum BSc in in the field of e-technology, computer science or comparable
• Experience in software development for large embedded systems, know-how low level software and software-relevant hardware, competence for effort assessments, completion of requirements, broad system knowledge
• Good knowledge of ECU software test procedures and tools and common automotive software development processes
• Good knowledge of agile software development, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), ASPICE and ASIL as well as good programming skills in C and scripting languages
• Good tool knowledge in DOORS, EA, Eclipse, GIT, Coverity, Google Unit Test and IBM ALM
• Experience in automated testing
• Deep SW knowledge in the automotive industry
• We appreciate strong knowledge on low level SW as well as HW
• 3 + years’ work experience Germany (preferred) or Europe
• Permanent EU Resident / Permanent Settled status (no visa assistance offered / no Blue Cards please)
• You work in a structured way and take responsibility
• Excellent business English, both written and spoken
