Our client are a well-established, world leading lithium-ion battery manufacturing businesses who specialize in EV and Energy Storage systems. They have had three US based opportunities to be based on site at some of their most prestigious clients.

Working as part of the quality team, the Failure Analysis Engineer will be focussing on the analysis of abnormal products in the factory and client side by completing problem analysis in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will organize and analyse information and set the FA team but will also:-

• Use 8D logic, FTA, fishbone diagram, 5Why and other methods to analyse the failures of different product stages to investigate and confirm the cause of failure, including battery cell & module disassembly.
• Update and maintain lessons learned database based on customers’ complaint, regularly transfer lessons learned to other departments.
• Improve the overall planning of meetings and co-ordinate resources related to the analysis process.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years FA experience within the energy storage industry or 1 year BMS related experience with and a demonstrable understanding of the structure and principle of batteries as well as the production and manufacturing process. Able to use CATIA, and understand FTA, Fishbone and 5WHY methods
