Head of DevOps – Global Leading Blockchain/Crypto Company / AWS / Docker / Kubernetes / Infrastructure Design

We are working closely with a global leader in digital asset exchange and we’re looking for an experienced Head of DevOps to lead teams of over 100 people.

This role is 100% remote and is a full-time permanent position.

You can work anywhere across the US or Europe but you must have the right to work in the country you are based in.

This is an incredibly senior position where you will be responsible for building and managing the centralized DevOps and Infrastructure teams, driving entire solutions and working on architecture development.

This position is very hands on, so you will also be heavily involved on the technical side.

Requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience in a Senior DevOps position
• 5+ years team management experience
• Expert level understanding and hands-on experience on Cloud Platform and architecture like AWS
• Solid experience and mindset on Cloud based security solution and architecture design and implementation.
• With experience and skills on Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure design (networking, load balancing, CDN, middleware including but not limited to message queue – Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc), automation (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc) and CI/CD Pipeline (Jenkins)
• Corresponding development experiences on micro-services based frontend and backend applications are preferred.
