DevOps Engineer – Semiconductor / Jenkins / GNU Make

We are recruiting DevOps Engineers to work for a world-leading semiconductor manufacturing company on topics including infrastructure support for development activities and the automation of manual operations.

This is a permanent onsite working opportunity based in Leuven, Belgium.

Key responsibilities for this DevOps Engineer position:

• Leading and contributing to DevOps activities.
• Contributing to the definition of source code structure and working with software architects to understand product details and software development.
• Working with our client’s IT team to provide infrastructure support.
• Keeping track of deliverables, generating reports, and working with multiple project teams.
• Automating manual operations with reusable tools and creating tools for standardizing configuration or release management.
• Integrating code quality tools and performing analysis on the software build process.

Key requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with multi-team software integration and infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with continuous integration tools, eg. Jenkins.
• Experience with setting up and configuring virtualization.
• Strong experience with automation tools, eg. GNU Make, Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with GNU Make or C based product build setups.
• Experience with software code quality measurement tools, eg. Coverity or TICS.
• Experience scripting in Python.
• Experience with Windows batch files, PowerShell, and Linux Shell scripts.
