Senior Software Engineer – Stream Processing / Scala / Kafta

We are currently recruiting Senior Software Engineers to work with a leading client in the development of ESG data management solutions for real estate on topics including the development of our client’s leading applications and associated architecture support.

This is a fully remote working opportunity in the USA.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Software Engineer position:

• Actively participate in the development, testing, and integration of new applications and services.
• Maintain and extend existing applications and services.
• Stay up to date on relevant technologies and identify business opportunities and create solutions.
• Collaborate across multiple teams on development projects and constructively engage in team code reviews.
• Convey domain knowledge to teammates and mentor less experienced team members.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
• Strong professional experience working in Scala and Kafta; additional experience in Java and Python is beneficial.
• Experience working with Steam processing technologies; eg. Kafta, Kinesis, or PubSub.
• Experience working with application performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity working with Terraform and Kubernetes.
