Senior DFT Engineer – Engineering / Tetramax / Synopsys

We are recruiting experienced DFT engineers to work for a leading multinational engineering company to work on topics for industry-leading end clients including SoC top-level constraints and partitions for RTL designers.

This is a fully remote working opportunity in the USA.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior DFT Engineer position:

• Providing SoC-level constraints and partitions for RTL and Logic designers.
• Performing top/block-level DFT insertion and verifying DFT circuitry and interfacing with other blocks.
• Work closely with physical design teams to generate and validate timing restraints.
• Be able to understand problems and innovate solutions for DFT alongside diagnosis and yield learning.
• Be able to work independently and own the complete task for DFT specification to final pattern delivery.
• Working closely with multiple teams to meet all functional requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with DFT and test flow using commercial EDA tools for large and complex SoCs.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of DFT techniques. Experience working with Synopsys DFT compiler, Tetramax, and VCS is required.
• Experience working with TestMaxDFT, SMS, or TestMaxAdvisor tool suite is an advantage.
• Experienced working in RTL simulation, synthesis, linting, CDC checks, STA, DFT, and Quality metrics.
• Hands-on experience in writing system Verilog.
• Hands-on experience in Perl/Tcl/Python/Unix Scripting
