Factory Engineer

We are looking for a Factory Engineer to join our clients expanding team on their mission to reinvent Lithium-Ion Cell Manufacturing.

Our client is solving the challenges of the battery industry by providing a simpler, more reliable, safer manufacturing process that accelerates production while reducing costs of existing and next-generation cell technology – making batteries affordable.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactions with partners, including general contractors, project managers, and engineering firms through the factory design and construction phases.
• Lead high volume factory and facility design with our deployment partners globally & create safe factory environments for our employees and partners
• Create and edit CAD drawings for facility design (AutoCAD)

Requirements

• ESSENTIAL TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN FACILITY DESIGN OR FACTORY SET-UP
• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideal candidates will have direct experience with factory set up and installation, including working with general contractors, architects, EHS/regulatory, and MEP engineers
• 3+ experience with design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks)
• Proven track record of successful completion of installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with HVAC systems
