The Company

The Technical Engineering Manager of Electronics for this automotive interiors company will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for managing and coordinating the global development team and serving as the primary technical interface with customers. In this role, you will be responsible for early phase customer technical negotiations and ensuring that the team is meeting the technical requirements of the customers.

You will also be responsible for driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team, and for ensuring that all products and processes meet industry standards and regulations. Other responsibilities may include managing budgets, developing and implementing strategies for success, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the success of the project through active change & release management as well as the internal representation of customer interests
• Support BU/TS team to win new business.
• Organization, moderation and Execution of engineering meetings/workshops/problem resolution and related technical tests and demonstrations
• Deputize Project Engineering Leader and System Engineer

Requirements

You will also need to have a strong technical background in electronics and a deep understanding of cockpit electronics specifically. With at least 8 years of relevant experience in product development and technical team leadership, and preferably have worked on projects with OEMs such as BMW, Daimler, or Audi with a strong knowledge of program management, including experience managing timing, quality, cost, and delivery.

Strong communication skills, including business-level proficiency in German and English, will be essential for this role, as the manager will need to be able to effectively communicate with customers and team members in a variety of settings.
