Technical Staff Engineer

Technical Staff Engineer CAD – Semiconductors / Microcontrollers – Bucharest, Romania

As a Technical Staff Engineer in CAD, you will have the opportunity to work on a team that is responsible for the development and support of design implementation tools used by design teams across multiple business units.

You will have the opportunity to mentor and train junior engineering staff, evaluate new tools, and develop custom applications to manage data and configuration in chip implementation flows.

This role requires a strong understanding of the digital implementation flow from RTL to layout, with expertise in areas such as linting, clock domain crossing, reset domain crossing, low power implementation, formal verification, formal equivalency, synthesis, and static timing. You should also have strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Make, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
