Principal Controls Engineer

My Client is transforming the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platform in order to address the major issues for a better energy future. They offer a simpler, more dependable, safer manufacturing method that speeds up production while cutting the prices of current and next-generation cell technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Create, communicate and implement the company-wide manufacturing data & controls strategy to facilitate the roadmap to go from development to commercialization.
• Support the development of the manufacturing control system infrastructure.
• Develops and applies advanced engineering theories, methods, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands-on experience with industry-standard control systems (eg Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc).
• Hands-on experience with industrial SCADA systems (eg Ignition, Wonderware, etc).
• Hands-on experience with online and offline manufacturing metrics (eg vision, thickness measurement, defect detection, etc).
• BS 15+ years, MS 8-15 years, PhD 8-15 years

You will need to be based in the USA to be considered for this position, have US citizenship, green card holder, or H1B transfer.
