Cyber Security Architect – Remote (Poland or Germany based)

A world renowned Automotive client is looking for a Cyber Security Architect on a 1 year contract basis with 5 years experience. The Cyber Security Architect will provide security guidance in various software development areas and will be a technical security liaison between the customer, customer program team, and the infotainment engineering team. 

Key job responsibilities include: 

• Review new security technologies, help selected suppliers, and create solutions to effectively mitigate security threats/risks
• Articulating secure systems and software development guidelines and promulgating them to the Center of Competence (CoC) teams.
• Define specs for security testing and acceptance criteria ,conduct routine code analysis checks, fuzz testing and functional security testing and Review policy adherence throughout life-cycle
• Preform Threat Assessment , analyze attack vectors,  review security requirements, systems and software architectures from a security standpoint and providing guidance for required implementation.

Skills needed and preferred: 

• 5 years as a security architect for embedded systems
• 5 years of hands-on experience in either implementation of security mechanisms or reverse engineering of embedded systems
• Experience in applied cryptography and design of crypto-based mechanisms

Preferred skills:

• Ethical hacker certification – an advantage
• Experience in cyber-security of embedded systems
• Experience in code design concept and measures for automotive systems from network, architecture level

This is a remote contract position, however the ideal person will need to either be based in Poland or Germany requiring frequent travel to the clients German-based offices.
