3D Machine Learning Engineer

European Recruitment are working closely with a world leading 3D scanning company, based in Bressanone, who are looking for a talented 3D Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.

Our client leverage cutting edge computer vision and machine learning technologies to mass produce high quality, relightable 3D models of the objects they scan.

In this role you will apply your neural inverse rendering experience to help push the 3D scanning technology to the next level.

Responsibilities as 3D Machine Learning Engineer:

• Drive the development of AI models for relightable 3D reconstruction and 3D understanding.
• Collaborate every day with the rest of the 3D reconstruction team and actively propose solutions.
• Help bring AI models into production.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a deep-tech start-up .
• Proven track record in the area Neural Inverse Rendering (e.g. NeRF, Gaussian Splatting).
• Experience with 3D Machine Learning (e.g. 3D reconstruction, synthesis or understanding).
• Experience with differentiable rendering techniques and frameworks.
• Good understanding of neural architectures for 3D Computer Vision tasks.
• Python, Pytorch, Docker experience.

Desirable Experience:

• Basic understanding of computer graphics and light transport.
• Experience with Generative AI with focus on 3D.
• Experience with C++ and CUDA.
• Experience with TensorRT and MLOps best practices.
• Image processing, classical and modern CV/ML techniques.
• SfM, multi-view geometry, structured light, point cloud and mesh processing.
