Account Manager – Semiconductor – Power Electronics – Belgium

We have partnered with a Global technology distributor and solution provider within the Semiconductor Industry with over fifteen thousand customers across Europe and decades of history.

With specialist teams across Europe in every technology and vertical market, this business supports its clients from idea conception to production handling all the technical challenges and business development decisions.

As the business expands, we seek an experienced professional within Power Electronics to join the European team in Belgium.

The ideal candidate will focus on Technologies and have a great impact on the POWER business growth, establishing and developing long-lasting relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, AND contributing to identifying new business opportunities and market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales/project opportunities at existing and prospective customers
  • Meet and provide the best service to customers as well as information on products and services, identifying service needs
  • Work closely with product engineers and internal sales, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Maximize sales opportunities and profitability for the assigned customers to achieve the budgets

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree, or commercial secondary (advanced) education
  • Experience in sales of technical products, preferably within the electronics and component industry
  • Customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude
  • Independent and autonomous and a team player
  • Excellent communicator in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an absolute asset
  • Deep knowledge in Microsoft Tools like Excel, Word, Teams, SAP, SalesForce
  • Be up to date with the latest technology and trends
  • Driving license
