AMS Design Engineer

I am partnered with a company based in Germany, who are looking to bring on an AMS engineer to their team, specializing in the speed barrier for wireless communications.

They will accommodate predominantly remote working, but would ideally be looking for someone to be onsite in Aachen for about a week a month

They offer a friendly flat hierarchy and quick decision and reaction making

About the position:

• Work as part of a high caliber team on data converters and other AMS circuits
• Work on all aspects of the data-converter chipsets including post-si validation
• Gain detailed understanding of a large range of IPs
• Define test plans and programs

About you:

• Very strong understanding of AMS circuits e.g. ADCs, DACs, PLLs etc
• Hands on experience with EDA design tools e.g. Cadence Virtusos (ideally with successful tapeouts)
• Good programming skills in Matlab and Python
