We are working with a high growth Semiconductor manufacturer in the Netherlands, who are looking to expand their engineering teams. As a result they are looking for an experienced AMS Verification Engineer.

Their VLSI design team is responsible for the design and realization of energy-efficient

analog and mixed-signal components at the heart of brain-inspired processors. The team

is looking to hire an experienced mixed-signal simulation and verification engineer to

enhance our hierarchical verification approach of these cutting edge custom components.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating, validating, and enhancing behavioral models for analog blocks dedicated to mixed-signal verification.
  • Employing event-driven modeling techniques for analog circuits, facilitating Model-vs-Schematic for seamless handoff to SoC Verification teams.
  • Planning and coordinating tasks related to analog/mixed-signal verification.
  • Conducting thorough analysis, design, and verification simulations to ensure compliance with specifications for building blocks.
  • Documenting assigned blocks comprehensively and leading design review meetings, actively participating in the review process.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A PhD/MSc with a minimum of 5-10 years of pertinent industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in system-level modeling and simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits, encompassing Wreal/SVRNM and a strong grasp of event-driven modeling concepts.
  • Basic familiarity with SystemVerilog and assertions is advantageous.
  • Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Perl or Python.
  • In-depth understanding of circuit analysis, including AC, DC, noise, transient, parameter sweep, sensitivity, multi-parameter optimization, and component stress and reliability analysis. Experience in Monte Carlo analysis for yield estimation is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Cadence Virtuoso AMS Designer Simulator tool flow is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A problem-solving mindset, self-initiative, and a profound passion for technology.
