We have been engaged by a leading global semiconductor firm, who provide technological solutions to the automotive industry among others, to source an experienced Application Engineer. Our client is seeking someone to:

• Conduct comprehensive lab testing of power products – applying knowledge of Si IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs.
• Establish and nurture high-value customer relationships, establishing an understanding of customer requirements.
• Work directly with a particular Tier 1 automotive OEM to satisfy next generation power electronics requirements.

Key Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in power component testing.
• Subject matter expertise of power conversion systems, including circuit tologies, Power modules, thermal solutions, gate drive electronics and passive components.
• Knowledge of Si IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs.
• Matlab/Simulink familiarity.
• Previous experience in a customer-centric role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Additional Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Field Application Engineer in the Automotive or Power Electronics market.
