Job Description

This role is with a leading semiconductors company, they need engineers with a hardware digital background with some embedded software systems. Ideally this role would require a candidate which could act as an interface between systems teams and hardware teams.

Your Job:

  • Drive development of common microarchitecture elements for Automotive Microcontrollers & Processors products
  • Work with Systems team to define and develop specifications for IP and SoC AMP products
  • Work with corporate level NXP working groups involved with developing common architectures and shareable IP specs

Your Profile:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Automotive MCU R&D Design and Verification roles
  • Deep expert knowledge of SoC Microarchitecture and Implementation possibilities, System Level Design methods and tools including strategy development for System design
  • Knowledge of HW development tools and languages as well as embedded SW development tools and languages
  • Design methods and tools including strategy development for System design
  • Clear understanding of Automotive MCU Customer expectations
  • Ability to work in a global project organization with project team distributed internationally
  • Very good communication and networking skills
  • Very good English and German language skills
