Business Development Manager – Semiconductor / MCUs

This is an opportunity to join a multinational semiconductor company who manufacture microcontrollers, mixed-signal, analog, and Flash-IP integrated circuits. You will join a team of subject matter experts and fantastic R&D engineers to find and drive opportunities, demonstrating good technical background, customer focused attitude and the ability to work and lead others in the organization.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Drive business opportunities, utilizing the complete range of our capabilities to maximize revenue and margin.
  • Focus on target end equipment and key clients to drive maximum growth.
  • Cross-BU collaboration to maximize content at customers.
  • Work closely with the field and factory teams to develop major customer program business proposals.
  • Support field teams to drive design wins and provide support to our customers across Europe.
  • Generate and deliver training materials for field sales and distribution partners.
  • Execute product introduction plans including launch, channel training, promotion, pricing and selling tools.
  • Provide customer and market requirements with strategic insight to the product team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Essential

  • BSEE or equivalent, with experience in technical marketing and business development.
  • Experience in the semiconductor market is required (in the microcontroller market is preferred).
  • Semiconductor business model knowledge and specifically microcontroller business is a significant advantage.
  • MBA degree with marketing or financial emphasis is an advantage. • Customer account management experience. Competencies
  • Must be able to demonstrate teamwork in a cross-functional, global team environment and be able to establish constructive working relationships with customers and field sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills including messaging, presentation development and delivery and listening skills.
