Business Development Manager – Semiconductor / Microcontrollers / Sales

We are currently working with a leading semiconductor company in Europe looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Italy to drive European Microcontroller sales.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Milan. A hybrid working model of 3 days remote/2 days onsite is possible with this role.

Key Responsibilities for this Business Development Manager position:

• Driving business opportunities to maximize revenues and margin.
• Focusing on key clients and cross-BU collaborations to drive maximum growth.
• Working closely with both field and factory teams to develop customer program business proposals.
• Supporting field teams to drive design wins and providing support to customers across Europe including the generation of training materials.
• Executing product introduction plans and providing strategic insight to the product team.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in technical marketing and business development.
• Proven track record working within embedded control or microcontroller markets.
• Experienced in customer account management and working within a global team environment.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% of the time.
