Research Engineer – Cloud Computing

One of the worlds largest investors into industrial R&D is looking to expand their teams working on Cloud Computing and their Cloud services in Munich. 

They are looking for someone to help lead the definition of next-generation cloud platforms, from the software architecture and design through to implementation, as well as being responsible for redesigning existing cloud storage technologies considering new and emerging hardware capabilities.

Key skills required:

• PhD in Computer Science or other related disciplines
• Proven background and experience working with cloud computing platforms (E.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack…)
• Strong knowledge of cloud storage technologies
• Familiarity with current server CPU / HW architectures, memory technologies etc. 

Additionally, candidates must be eligible to work in Germany for this role – Unfortunately we cannot provide visa sponsorship.
