Communication System Engineer – BLE / IoT

Are you a communication system engineer with experience in BLE or IoT that is looking for a new role at an exciting high growth startup?

At European Recruitment we are currently working alongside a Delft based semiconductor startup that are working on an ultra efficient GNSS chipset with the lowest power consumption of any of its kind in the world, helping them to bring on board a communication system engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement communication systems, considering factors such as bandwidth, latency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and network engineers, to ensure seamless integration of communication systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance and reliability of communication systems.
• Collaborate closely with RTL implementation teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of designs.
• Create and maintain documentation for communication system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications:

• A Master degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience as a Communication System Engineer.
• Strong programming and scripting skills: MATLAB, C/C++
• Strong understanding of communication systems, protocols, and technologies, and also fixed-point calculations.
• In-depth Knowledge of digital signal processing, physical layer blocks of wireless communication systems like modulation/demodulation techniques, filters, channel estimation, equalization, and synchronization.
• Familiarity with networking protocols.
• Proficiency within GNSS, NB-IOT, LORA, or BLE.
• Previous experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting communication systems.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration with RTL implementation teams.
• Solid understanding of FPGA or ASIC implementation in communication systems
