Communication System Engineer – GNSS / PHY Layer / BLE / DSP

We are looking for a Communication System Engineer to join an innovative fabless semiconductor company at their office in Delft.

As a Communication System Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Devise & execute communication system, taking into account aspects such as bandwidth, latency, & dependability.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with interdisciplinary teams, encompassing hardware specialists, software programmers, & network engineers, to guarantee the smooth assimilation of communication systems.
• Formulate & implement testing strategies to substantiate the efficacy & dependability of communication systems.
• Forge close partnerships with RTL implementation teams to guarantee seamless integration & improvement of designs.
• Generate & update documentation detailing communication system designs, configurations, & protocols for troubleshooting.

As a Communication System Engineer your skills will include:

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering or similar domain
• 5+ years’ experience as a communication system engineer
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge in DSP & the physical layer components of wireless communication systems, encompassing modulation/demodulation techniques, filters, channel estimation, equalization, & synchronization.
• Good grasp of communication systems, protocols, & technologies
• Acquainted with various networking protocols
• Proficient in GNSS, BLE, LORA or NB-IOT
• Experience in the creation, implementation, & resolution of issues in communication systems
• Successful collaboration with RTL implementation teams
• Comprehensive understanding of FPGA or ASIC implementation within communication systems
