Computer Vision Team Lead

Team Lead Computer Vision – Munich

A high-tech start-up working in the Robotics field is looking for a Team Lead Computer Vision to join them at their site in Munich.

Requirements for the role:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development in the fields of computer vision or robotics.
• A minimum of 2 years of technical project management experience in a complex work environment.
• Familiarity with at least one modern computer vision or robotics framework.
• As a people manager, you possess strong communication and mentoring skills, particularly in English.
• Ideally, you have prior experience leading international teams in a complex development setting.
• As a project manager, you are goal-driven and excel in organization.
• You hold an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in computer vision, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder communication regarding Computer Vision functions and interfaces.
• Oversight of Computer Vision software library implementation and maintenance.
• Contribution to the company’s architectural and strategic development.
• Management of two-week sprints within a Large Scale Scrum Framework.
• Resource allocation for the team.
• Supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluation of team members.
• Providing technical guidance to engineers and resolving complex technology issues.
• Ensuring team engagement, knowledge sharing, and capacity development.
• Monitoring and reporting on team workload, resources, and outcomes.
• Assisting in team recruitment and the onboarding of new members.
