We’re working with a true leader in research, development, and innovation, and they are looking for a Data Architect Lab Director to drive their team.

In this role, you will work with top experts in big data, developing insights into cutting edge tech and products in the data domain, driving innovation. You will be the visionary for the growing team, leading the team to push boundaries of what’s possible in data management and analytics. You will also be architecting and designing the blueprint for next gen data warehouse infrastructure.

For EU citizens with the right to work in Amsterdam, these positions can either permanent full-time or 12 month rolling contracts, full-time. If you require a visa to work in Amsterdam, this will be a 12 month contract.

This is an on-site position based on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

For this Data Architect Lab Director position, I’m interested in speaking to people with the following:

– 15-20+ years experience in storage, HPC areas such as Cloud, SQL, Big Data, Query Compilation etc

– Seasoned leadership experience across similar domains

– A good academics and industry background

– Experience with either C / C++/ Java or Python

– Experience in the development of cloud computing / database systems / high performance computing / and/or distributed systems etc
