DevOps Engineer – Jenkins.

Our client is a Tier 1 automotive software company, working on cutting edge embedded software for high-tech cars. Based in Munich you would be working on tech that is going into millions of vehicles including in AI, Consumer Electronics, Internet Connectivity, Cloud Computing products.

What are the responsibilities in this DevOps Engineer – Jenkins role?

• You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of a build processes for multiple concurrent releases of embedded SW for an automotive ECU.
• You wil use scripting to automate, build and deploy process through build systems.
• You will execute test suites in the continuous integration proces.
• Furthermore you setup scalable virtual build environments using Docker or VMware.

What are the required skills in this DevOps Engineer – Jenkins role?

• At least knowledge of one scripting language, preferably Ruby
• Thorough knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems
• Experience with Jenkins build system preferably with the workflow/pipeline process
